Metco S.r.l. was established in 1990 to make metal complex colouring agents for decorating porcelain tiles. Its long experience matured on production lines all over the world, makes it ideally positioned to advise those wanting to relocate production and use the most appropriate type of applicator. In addition, Metco provides consultancy service and offers the best solutions to customers who want to improve their production output.
Indeed, there are many variables connected to line systems, some of them are well-known and others, when put together, create a non efficient application of the colour with a consequent low production yield after polishing and not. This service, which complements the research activity, is often combined with the proven experience of the system operators, favouring the creation of new application devices and their introduction on the market.
In December 1998, Metco set up a permanent research centre in Fiorano Modenese (Italy) which is capable of performing all the tasks necessary for creating state of the art products. Indeed, using the most sophisticated application systems available on the market, customers can be offered the possibility of simulating industrial productions to make sure that the recipes have been correctly formulated before they are put into daily production. This means enormous savings of money and time for the final user. The timing of applied research at the companies is not always easy to calculate, and for this reason too, an invitation is extended to all the ceramic technicians who feel the need for further training on the most recent solutions to the application problems in the penetrating colours sector to visit the company.
Within the company, Metco Srl has a five-member sales force with a decade’s experience, which promotes Metco products all over the world. Metco Srl has recently set up three companies in Spain, China and India, to ensure a quick and competent service in terms of assistance and product supply. Indeed the three companies have their own local technicians and product warehouses, quality control centres and production assistance. |
